Hi! I'm Stacy! I am an 18 year veteran of teaching, 16 years spent teaching 2nd grade at the very same school I attended from kindergarten through high school graduation.
This is me and my teaching partner, Shelly. Sorry the pic is blurry.... I *think* it was a tipsy night! She has been an invaluable source of knowledge, insight, and support for 16 years. Sadly, I only have one more year with her as she is LEAVING ME! (ie Retiring.....) I just don't know how I'm going to do this without her!
I have been married for almost 17 years, and we have two boys. Cameron is 15 and Bennett is 14. This picture was taken last summer on our vacation in Gulf Shores, Alabama. The Pink Pony is our favorite spot to grab a bite to eat before hitting the beach.
I enjoy camping. Though I know it's not quite as enjoyed by my husband.........
Pinterest is a personal fave. I love scrolling through all the different pins. And on bad days, I pull up my "Things that make me Laugh" board and howl like a loon!
Teaching through a pandemic has been the hardest thing I've ever had to do. My school has done really well with its response to the ever-changing mandates and fluctuating Covid numbers. We've avoided large shut-downs (at least since the first big one in 2020), while still experiencing a revolving door of quarantined students and staff.
